This is Brazil, the country that will welcome World Youth Day to Rio de Janeiro in 2013. Blessed by Christ the Redeemer, the enormous monument located upon a mountain top 708m above the city, Rio de Janeiro is now immersed in one of the great moments of its history. Already the destination of more foreign tourists than any South American city, Rio de Janeiro will be one of the 12 World Soccer Cup venues in 2014 and the site of the 2016 Olympic Games.
