Life marked by faith in God is marvelous, but even better when accompanied by music. With this in mind, the first of the three special CDs that will accompany the pilgrimage of the Cross and Icon of Our Lady through Brazilian dioceses in preparation for the 2013 WYD (Rio de Janeiro) is already available. The first album – “No peito eu levo uma cruz” (On my chest I bear a cross) – is a collection of 13 very well-known Catholic songs on the theme of the Cross and Our Lady, interpreted by Ziza Fernandes, Zé Vicente, Father Fábio de Melo, and others. The highpoint of this CD is a new recording of the song “Nova Geraçao” (New Generation), by Father Zezinho, the refrain of which is the title of the album.
